On some MacBook Air models from before 2022, the edge of the laptop has a slightly different shape, so your ChronoPad® may not sit perfectly straight away. This guide walks you through a clean fit, including how to trim the edge if you need to.
Step 1
Wipe the palm rest clean
A dry, dust-free surface helps the pad sit flat and stay put.
Step 2
Cut the strip
Use a pair of scissors to cut at the line. This strip is not necessary for your MacBook Air.
Step 3
Peel the backing off
Remove the film without touching the adhesive side.
Step 4
Stick the top edge in place
Line up the top edge, then smooth it down to avoid bubbles.
