It started with a scratch
Like many professionals, we love the clean aluminum finish of our MacBooks, and we love wearing our watches. Then came the scrape of a metal clasp against the palm rest, and the scratches it left behind. We didn’t want a bulky case or an ugly sticker. We wanted something that looked like it belonged there.

ChronoPad® is made by JKC Trading B.V., a small team based in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. We design, test, and ship every ChronoPad® ourselves, from first prototype to the pad on your desk today. Our focus stays narrow on purpose: one problem, solved well, for the people who wear a watch and won’t give it up.

Step 1
Wipe the palm rest clean
A dry, dust-free surface helps the pad sit flat and stay put.
Step 2
Peel the backing off
Remove the film without touching the adhesive side.
Step 3
Stick the top edge in place
Line up the top edge, then smooth it down to avoid bubbles.
Step 4
Fold the corner over the edge
Fold the corner of the ChronoPad® over the edge of the palm rest and press it down.

If you often work on your MacBook while wearing a watch, bracelet or jewellery, the palm rest can get scratched over time. ChronoPad® helps protect that area while still feeling soft and comfortable on your skin.
Yes, ChronoPad® is designed to feel soft on the skin while you work. It protects your MacBook without creating a hard or uncomfortable surface under your wrist.
ChronoPad® is made in three sizes, each cut for a specific deck: the 13″ for the MacBook Air 13″ (83 × 86 mm per pad), the 14″ for the MacBook Pro 14″ (86 × 86 mm) and the 16″ for the MacBook Pro 16″ (93 × 105 mm). If your MacBook is one of those models, pick the matching size and it fits as designed.
Older or smaller MacBooks, and laptops from other brands, are not covered by a dedicated size. That does not always mean it will not work: measure the usable area of your palm rest and compare it with the three sizes above. If one of them fits your measurements, the pad will do the same job.
